The Crippled Dancer
Rut Karin Zettergren, Dannis Napoliata Sierra
Your body is changing through dance, the brain expands and the physical activity offers a different understanding of the world. We meet the higher meditation, creating new symbols to interpret life. We can no longer rely on the old values. There are new movements, hybrids between cultures, changes in appearance. Dance makes your body develop a different method of survival.
The film starts when we land in the end of civilization as we know it. It’s a story about the body’s relationship to dance, how it can change it and affects the environment. It points at the beauty of art that every piece of art is like a gift to the viewer.
